Greetings! My name is Evgeny Havtan. For over 20 years I’ve been the frontman and guitarist of the Moscow rock-band Bravo. I guess my life would be quite different if once when I was in the 7th form my parents hadn’t bought me my first and still the most favourite "classical" guitar of GDR production which cost 70 roubles. That was a huge sum of money for that time. Since that day my "second" life has begun. My first guitar was followed by another one - electric Muzima, and from that day – things have been up and running. By the early 2000, my passion has resulted in a collection and some of my guitars from this collection can be seen on this site. These are mainly instruments which are similar to those the guitarists whom I love and respect play and played. I us? most of my guitars in the studio and at my band’s Bravo concerts. Every time I open my old guitar case, I understand that I hold in my hands not just an instrument, but a part of irretrievably bygone era in which rock 'n' roll was "yun" and "fresh" and its characters were "real" and "genuine". And the sound of these instruments will remain forever in the records which will live through more than one generation. eng
